El Camino

¡Bienvenidos!

We have been serving Seattle fresh, vibrant, home made Mexican food since 1996!
El Camino is a casual dining spot in the Fremont neighborhood, two doors east of the Rocket at 35th Street & Evanston. Dedication to the complex, authentic recipes from Mexico’s southern regions has been our “el camino”: translated by a Mexican friend as “the road, a personal journey, a way of thinking to move forward.” Generous portions, famous margaritas and our fabulous staff have all been great accompaniments to the meals at our restaurant.

We have traveled Mexico extensively over the past 15 years, and will continue to do so in the future, seeking out culinary secrets and sharing with you our favorite discoveries.

With love and appreciation for this wonderful food, gracias!

Our Story

Just a few more things:

  • We serve only the freshest ingredients, organic & local whenever possible.
All house made, all the time.
  • Our moles are made the traditional way—it’s an all day endeavor, and worth it!
  • Organic beef from Painted Hills, Oregon, Carlton Farm pork, free range local chicken,
organic eggs. We get this, and stand behind the practices on all levels.
  • Wild Salmon Fish Market has been providing our seafood since day 1—wild caught
salmon & ocean fish, mussels from Whidbey Island. Visit them at Fishermen’s Terminal—they’re great!
